1. Hubsan FPV X4 H107D:
An affordable FPV drone perfect for beginners, it is lightweight, weighing about 35 grams so I would suggest flying it in open low wind areas. It is relatively durable to take a few falls as I crashed mine into several trees but the brawny things stayed with me although I had to replace a few broken propellers.
It has a 4.3-inch LCD viewing monitor and a 0.3MP sensor that records at a resolution of 640 x 480.
One of the most appreciable features of the Hubsan X4 is its range. It can be easy flown up to 100 meters and all that powered by a 380mAh Li-Po battery.
2. UDI U818A:
The most user-friendly feature of the UDI U818A is its durability. You can crash it several times but it keeps on coming back for more. With a range of 30 meters and flight time of 6-9 minutes, it is fairly good for early users.
One of the exciting facts of this little monster is that it lets you perform a mid-air flip maneuver at the click of a button which makes you feel like a pro. I strongly recommend to not fly it on a windy day and find an open field or a large spatial area for it otherwise you may have to climb quite a few trees or walls to rescue it. I did not find the camera so great, (only 640 x 480 pixels) but hey, it’s cheap and great for beginners.
3. Hero RC XQ-5 V626 UFO:
With a flight duration of 8-10 minutes, it is a basic FPV drone that is lightweight and agile. Powered by a 7.4V 850mAh battery and a 2.4GHz radio system, it can perform rolls and flips with average resistance in low winds. However, the camera is not much of a camera but still works on Wi-Fi and is good enough for starters.
4. Holy Stone X400C:
The two striking features of this little beauty are the one key return and headless mode that enable a smooth and stable flight. the 6 axis gyro system facilitates easy controlling while doing 360-degree rolls. It can be controlled up to a 100 meters with a flight time of 8-10 minutes. You can watch the bird’s eye view right on your smartphone with the 0.3 MP camera.

However, a problem that I found to accompany these amazing specs is that it heats up quickly.
5. Cheerson CX-32W:
The Cheerson CX-32W is equipped with a 2.0MP camera for photo and video recording, 0.3MP FPV with a range of 80 meters and a flight duration of 6-8 minutes. The best quadcopter under 100 comes with a relatively small 7.4v 360mAh battery and features, one-key take off and one-key landing. It also has a high-density air sensor which is great for high altitudes.
6. GTeng T901F “Flying Spider”:
This best quadcopter under 100 comes in a distinguished spider-like design which I found very intriguing. It features a 720p FPV camera with a spectacular range of 150 meters. A 3.7V 500mAh battery allows it a flight time of 6-8 minutes at a range of 40-50 meters meanwhile a 3.7V 450mAh battery powers the video streaming.
It is quite stable and one of the best 5.8G micro-quadcopters I have ever seen.
7. MJX X906T:
This amazing best quadcopter under 100 looks like the scale version of the more sophisticated Lily Drone. With a battery of 3.7 380mA that allows it a flight time of 6-10 minutes and a range of about 50 meters, it is a great choice for newbies. It comes with a 0.3MP Wi-Fi FPV and is lightweight and very durable.
The motor arms have LEDs which come in handy during night time flights, however, the camera is not so great for quality night time video streaming.
It also features automatic landing and takeoff which is exciting for kids.
